Building a Healthier Community "Brick by Brick"
By popular demand, we are continuing our "Buy a Brick" Campaign through the month of August. Thanks to all who have already purchased commemorative bricks. If you are still interested in being a part of Mattpan history, there is now still an opportunity to get your commemorative brick during the 2011-2012 campaign which will now be extended to August 13, 2012.
Again, we are thankful to all of our supporters who have already participated in the Buy a Brick campaign for MCHC's New Home. This is another opportunity for everyone to become a permanent part of the new health center facility and become "Anchored in Mattapan Square" by having your engraved brick installed on our Community Wall of Donors along Blue Hill Avenue.
Unfortunately, after August, we will no longer be able to accept orders. So, if you are a supporter who is still interested in becoming a permanent part of MCHC, we encourage you to make your purchase before the August 13th deadline is up. Now is your chance to support Mattapan Community Health Center with a donation that will last a lifetime.
Your gift of $500 or $200 will be honored with a commemorative brick. Each brick will be a visible part of the health center and will help ensure the legacy will continue for generations to come. Please go to our online site to purchase your brick before the August 13th deadline is up.
All Donations must be paid in full by August 13, 2012.

FAQ's Community Wall of Donors
Q: How soon will my brick be installed?
A: Bricks will be installed by the Summer of 2012.
Q: What should I write on my brick?
A: You can inscribe anything you would like, as long as it is family-appropriate and fits in the allotted 18 characters per line. You can use any characters on the keyboard, so consider using “&” instead of “and” to save space, or separate names with dashes instead of a comma and space. Unfortunately, if the character you want is not on a regular keyboard (like a heart, for example), we are unable to inscribe it on your brick.
Q: Is my brick tax-deductible?
A: Yes, the full purchase price is tax-deductible to the extent of the law. You are making a donation and we are honoring it with a brick placement on our community wall.
Q: What if I want to change the text on my brick?
A: You can make any changes up until we place the order with the brick company. Once that order is placed, we will not be able to make any other changes.
Q: How will I find my brick once it is installed?
A: Once your brick is laid, we will contact you with its approximate location . We think looking is half the fun, but if you have any trouble locating your brick, please stop by the Health Center and we will be happy to help you!
Q: What is a replica tile, when will I receive it?
A: Replica Tile is a 4x4 copy of the initial engraved brick with the same exact wording. You will receive your replica tile when the wall is erected.
