IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR AN EXPERIENCED BILLING CLERK:
Experienced Billing Clerk: Responsible for processing patient encounter forms for billing. Processing and electronically filing insurance claims to all third party payers. Analyzing and correcting accounts on edit reports in billing system; Printing and mailing paper claims where necessary. Billing secondary claims after primary claim has processed. Analyzing and correcting accounts on any payer rejection reports received from electronically filed claims. Reviewing demographic data on patient accounts for accuracy. Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications: High school diploma, knowledge of dental billing procedures. The ideal candidate will bring experience in managing high volume outpatient billing, preferably in a community health center setting. Must possess advanced computer skills and knowledge as well as good communication skills.
