Offcanvas Section

You can publish whatever you want in the Offcanvas Section. It can be any module or particle.

By default, the available module positions are offcanvas-a and offcanvas-b but you can add as many module positions as you want from the Layout Manager.

You can also add the hidden-phone module class suffix to your modules so they do not appear in the Offcanvas Section when the site is loaded on a mobile device.

Thank You for Your Support

Mattapan Community Health Center invites supporters, friends, and neighbors to join us in celebrating our 22nd Annual Rock the Boat Gala. We are moving Rock the Boat to Thursday night and will feature our traditional seated dinner and vibrant reception that includes delicious food, wonderful music, and a moving and thoughtful look at how MCHC continues to promote better health.

The night will also feature our Awards Presentation. Mattapan Community Health Center will honor a special and worthy supporter on the occasion of our 22nd Rock the Boat with MCHC's annual Community Health Pinnacle Award someone who has been a strong advocate and major champion of our work. The evening will be capped off with, as always with great music, dancing, and an impressive silent auction.
Mattapan Community Health Center (MCHC) is committed to its mission of improving the health and well-being of diverse populations in Mattapan and surrounding communities by providing exceptional primary care, and preventive health services, and social services. Since 1972, tens of thousands of families and individuals in and around Boston have depended on MCHC for their health care needs.

As we enter another year of operations in our state-of-the-art facility in Mattapan Square, we continue to grow and move forward with a dedicated staff and expanded services. In the past 12 months alone, we have served nearly 10,000 patients during more than 35,000 office visits.

About Rock The Boat

Rock the Boat is Mattapan Community Health Center's signature Fundraising Gala, which began in 1997. The goals of the Gala are to raise funds for our work, recruit friends, and to honor individuals who are making significant contributions to the Community Health Center Movement. The 1997 Gala set in motion the framework for the Health Center’s Annual Galas, which were held every April on Boston's premier cruise tour ship Spirit of Boston, for nine years. In 2006, because of the success of our gala, we relocated to a larger venue (hotel) on land.
