Serving the Mattapan
Community since 1972
MCHC has a long-serving Board of Directors
Our Board consist of talented members of the business community
The Mattapan Community Health Center (MCHC) has a long-standing, distinguised, board of directors, who are residents of the area we serve and who also receive their health care here too. The significance of this relationship is that the community can be assured that MCHC provides the kind of top notch health care to our patients that we would want for ourselves. Additionally, our board develops collaborative partnerships within the community and tracks local developments that may impact health center services. Overall, the Board of Directors are here to make sure that MCHC meets its goals and objectives in response to the challenge of caring for the health our growing and more culturally diverse community. Thus, Mattapan Community Health Center has commenced building a new, state-of-the-art health care facility which will open in the spring of 2012. In the meantime, MCHC will continue providing comprehensive, culturally appropriate, affordable health care, at our current location, regardless of a patientís ability to pay.
Our Board of Directors have identified five Strategic Priorities:
Priority 1 -- Funds Development to support enabling and preventive health services, and our capital expansion project.
Priority 2 -- Improve The Health Status of our patients and our community through primary care services, focusing on access to health care, health disparities, and health outcomes.
Priority 3 -- Strengthen Our Infrastructure through valued people, robust programs and services, and evolving systems.
Priority 4 -- Collaborations and Strategic Alliances with varied partners to Improve Health and Build Community.
Priority 5 -- Continous Improvements Mattapan Community Health Center is committed to providing.
