Dr. Anubhav (Anu) Kaul joined our Mattapan Community Health Center team in the role as Chief Medical Officer in April 2017. He is an internal medicine physician with a background in public health and experience in clinical practice, quality improvement, and operational management. Most recently, he was a staff physician at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center where he completed his internal medicine residency training. His undergraduate education was at Boston University with a major in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a minor in Religion. His MD degree was earned from the Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica and subsequently, he earned his MPH degree from the Dartmouth Institute of Health Policy and Clinical Practice in New Hampshire.
He trained at Ross University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center of which he is also affiliated along with Boston Medical Center. He has a fellowship in hospital management and leadership and a Master’s in Public Health from Dartmouth Institute. Dr. Kaul is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and speaks English and Hindi.
Dr. Kaul has a passion for healthcare advocacy and a drive for improving patient care and patient experiences. He is already having a meaningful impact on patient care and community outreach.
