The mission of Mattapan Community Health Center (MCHC) is to improve the quality of life for residents of Mattapan and the surrounding communities by providing comprehensive, accessible, affordable, and culturally appropriate community health care which includes primary and preventive health services. Our physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and support staff work hard to provide the excellent care our patients have come to expect. Since 1972, tens of thousands of families and individuals in and around Boston have turned to the Mattapan Community health Center for a wide array of health care services. Our Providers

Preventing illness and injury through health education and information is the goal of outreach which is one part of the mission of Mattapan Community Health Center. As a premier care-giver we also have a dedicated staff of diverse clinical providers, including Doctors, Dentists, Nurse Practitioners, Certified Nurse Midwives, and others, ready to restore your health and get you back on your feet. Call 617-296-0061 and ask to speak to the nurse for a prescription refill.

Fees and Payment

Fees are based on a patient's ability to pay. Lab fees may result in additional charges.

If You are Late...

Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late for an appointment will be treated as walk-ins. Patients will still be seen by a clinical provider for any urgent health care needs. However, they may have to wait.
