HCR: Purpose

The purpose of Mattapan Community Health Center’s Health Care Revival is to bring the community together to give input and to talk about relevant health issues. This faith-based Health Care Revival will also be an opportunity to devise a coordinated, innovative, and urgent response to specific public health issues. The larger goals of the Revival are to embrace our tag-line – OUR HEALTH. OUR POWER. OUR COMMUNITY. This involves a broad spectrum of individuals and groups from our service area – including community residents, the faith community, health and human service providers, business leaders, educators, etc. The environment for The Revival will Renew our Vision, Revive our Spirit, and Rekindle our Commitment to change the course of disturbing public health trends and health disparities in communities served by Mattapan Community Health Center.
